Bently Reserve: Wrap-up

I’m upgrading the OS on all the Signs here at The Bently Reserve today and taking off this weekend for Indiana, where it’s 65 today. I can’t wait to work with our office door open to the outside again…it makes for a nice work environment.

Here’s a wrap-up of press and blog coverage from the past week (all in our del.ico.us feed):

  • Musings: “It’s been an exhausting two weeks, but fun.”
  • I’ve only been wrong twice: “You don’t have to “look” web 2.0 to exemplify it’s ideals”
  • Technabob: “this year’s model runs much faster, has 4-times as much memory and comes in a sexy polished aluminum case. Oh yeah, it also is ready to go out of the box.”
  • C-NET Crave: “As fellow Craver Leonard Goh observed the other day, anything and everything is subject to hacking these days, including firmware for cameras. So it seems fitting that this open-source spirit be extended to digital picture frames as well.”
  • SlashGear: “RedPost released its first product not too long ago, the RedPost/Kit, which we got for review and loved. Now they are back on the scene with the same design, but with some upgrades.”
  • Inside Indiana Business, dBusinessNews (our press release)
  • Small Space Living: “I’m sure you have a local coffee shop or grocery store that has a community bulletin board. You know, that magical place where everyone posts their multi-colored flyers and posters. Well RedPost is trying to change the way local advertising works.”
  • The Truth’s Business Digest: “Software start-up company RedPost Inc. has installed its electronic signs at a newly renovated conference center in California.”
  • DigitalSignageToday.com: San Francisco’s Bently Reserve goes Digital

It’s funny to me that this little Indiana company is making a splash (albeit small) in one of the tech capitals of the world, San Francisco. Like, funny encouraging not funny ironic. Well, maybe a bit ironic. But in a good way. Leave it to Indiana to lead the way!
